Effective date: September 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Printopi PDS Recovery Writer processes information in connection with its restricted administrative functions.
Printopi PDS Recovery Writer is operated by Tshirts, etc LLC, operating as Printopi (“Printopi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Printopi PDS Recovery Writer. It does not replace or merge with the separate privacy policy governing Printopi's read-only Design Studio Session Recovery service.
1. Purpose of the Recovery Writer
Printopi PDS Recovery Writer is a restricted administrative application used within Printopi's governed Design Studio and Product Design Management (PDM) workflow.
The application is designed to support narrowly defined Session Recovery state operations associated with governed design workflows.
The Recovery Writer is not intended for public use and does not provide unrestricted access to Printopi's PDM records or underlying data systems.
2. Restricted Administrative Access
Access to Printopi PDS Recovery Writer is limited to specifically authorized operators.
An individual does not receive access merely because the application or its infrastructure exists. Access and operational authority are controlled separately and are subject to applicable authentication, authorization, and Printopi governance requirements.
The Recovery Writer is not made available as a general public application.
3. Operator Identity and Google Authentication
Printopi uses Google-based identity and access services to authenticate and authorize access to the Recovery Writer.
When an authorized operator attempts to access the application, we may process information associated with the operator's authenticated Google identity, including information such as:
• email address;
• a stable account identifier associated with the authenticated identity;
• authentication and authorization information necessary to determine whether access is permitted; and
• timestamps and related security or access metadata.
We use this information to authenticate the operator, determine whether the operator is authorized, associate governed administrative actions with the responsible operator, and maintain appropriate security and audit records.
We do not use the Recovery Writer to request an operator's Google password.
4. Session Recovery Information
The Recovery Writer may process information necessary to identify and manage a governed Session Recovery record.
Depending on the authorized operation, this information may include:
• identifiers associated with a design, version, or Recovery record;
• authoritative design and workflow information;
• workflow and Recovery status;
• governed creative or operational state;
• information required to validate a requested Recovery operation;
• the reason associated with an authorized administrative action;
• timestamps; and
• information necessary to preserve workflow integrity and traceability.
The application is designed to process only the information required for its governed Recovery functions.
5. Controlled Recovery Operations
The implemented Recovery Writer architecture supports narrowly defined controlled operations for creating and closing governed Session Recovery state.
These capabilities are not general-purpose record editing functions and are not available to the public.
Before a governed operation may be completed, the Recovery Writer may validate the authenticated operator, applicable authorization, the relevant design and version, governing workflow information, the requested operation, and other controls necessary to protect the integrity of the Recovery state.
The existence of implemented infrastructure does not mean that a particular operation is currently authorized for operational use.
6. Implemented Infrastructure and Current Operational Availability
Printopi distinguishes between implemented infrastructure and currently authorized operational availability.
The technical infrastructure supporting controlled Recovery Writer operations has been implemented.
Operational use, however, remains subject to separate authentication, authorization, validation, governance, and release controls.
A technically implemented capability may therefore remain unavailable for operational use until Printopi has completed and expressly authorized all required controls.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy should be interpreted as granting access to the Recovery Writer or as representing that controlled Recovery operations are available to the general public or to any particular operator.
7. PDM and Google Sheets Processing
Printopi's Product Design Management system serves as an authoritative source for governed design and version information and for applicable Session Recovery state.
The Recovery Writer may read information required to validate an authorized Recovery operation and, when an operation is operationally authorized, may write only the governed Recovery information permitted by the application's controlled workflow.
Google Sheets may be used as part of Printopi's PDM and Session Recovery data environment.
The Recovery Writer is not intended to provide unrestricted spreadsheet editing functionality.
8. Control-Plane Processing
The Recovery Writer uses a separate control-plane data service to support the integrity and reliability of governed Recovery operations.
Control-plane information may be used for purposes such as:
• validating approved Recovery instructions;
• coordinating controlled operations;
• preventing unintended duplicate processing;
• maintaining operation status;
• preserving mutation and audit evidence; and
• supporting reliable reconciliation of an authorized operation.
This control-plane processing does not replace the authoritative Session Recovery state maintained by Printopi's governed PDM environment.
9. Idempotency and Duplicate-Operation Protection
The Recovery Writer may maintain limited information necessary to recognize whether an administrative request has already been processed.
This information helps prevent an identical authorized request from unintentionally creating a second mutation and helps detect when the same request identifier is improperly reused for a different operation.
Such information is used for operational integrity, reliability, security, and audit purposes.
10. Logging and Audit Information
Printopi may maintain operational and audit information associated with Recovery Writer activity.
This may include:
• the authenticated operator associated with an administrative action;
• event or operation identifiers;
• timestamps;
• the type and outcome of an operation;
• validation or processing status;
• correlation or duplicate-prevention information; and
• information necessary to investigate failures, uncertain outcomes, or security events.
The Recovery Writer is designed to avoid intentionally recording authentication credentials, access tokens, OAuth client secrets, or complete underlying data records in application logs when those details are not required for legitimate operational purposes.
11. How We Use Information
Information processed through the Recovery Writer is used to:
• authenticate and authorize administrative operators;
• validate governed Recovery operations;
• maintain Session Recovery state;
• preserve the integrity of Printopi's Design Studio and PDM workflow;
• prevent duplicate or conflicting operations;
• maintain security and auditability;
• diagnose operational failures;
• reconcile uncertain processing outcomes; and
• comply with applicable legal, security, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not use Recovery Writer information for unrelated advertising purposes.
12. Google Cloud and Service Providers
Printopi uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate the Recovery Writer and related governed systems.
These providers may include Google services used for authentication, access control, cloud application hosting, data processing, logging, database or control-plane functionality, and spreadsheet-based PDM processing.
Information may be processed by these providers as necessary to provide their services to Printopi and to operate the Recovery Writer.
Their processing is also subject to their applicable terms, privacy policies, and security practices.
13. Information Sharing
Printopi does not make Recovery Writer information publicly available through the application.
Information may be shared or made accessible:
• to authorized Printopi personnel who require access for legitimate administrative, operational, security, or compliance purposes;
• to service providers processing information on Printopi's behalf;
• when necessary to protect the security, integrity, or lawful operation of Printopi's systems;
• when required by applicable law, legal process, or governmental request; or
• in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction where applicable legal and confidentiality requirements are observed.
We do not sell operator authentication information obtained through the Recovery Writer.
14. Information Retention
Printopi retains Recovery Writer information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including maintaining governed Recovery state, operational continuity, auditability, security, duplicate-operation protection, troubleshooting, compliance, and applicable legal or business recordkeeping requirements.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods depending on their purpose.
Where information is no longer reasonably required, Printopi may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable operational and legal requirements.
15. Security
Printopi uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information processed by the Recovery Writer.
These safeguards include restricted administrative access, authenticated identity controls, authorization checks, controlled application operations, separation of responsibilities, validation of governed requests, and audit mechanisms.
No method of electronic processing or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Printopi therefore reviews and evolves its safeguards as appropriate for the application and the information it processes.
16. Google User Data
To the extent the Recovery Writer receives information associated with an authenticated Google user, Printopi uses that information only as necessary to provide, secure, administer, and audit the restricted Recovery Writer functionality described in this Privacy Policy.
Google user information obtained for authentication and authorization is not used by the Recovery Writer for unrelated advertising purposes or made available to the general public.
17. Privacy Requests
Questions or requests concerning information processed by Printopi PDS Recovery Writer may be directed to the privacy contact designated by Tshirts, etc LLC operating as Printopi.
Privacy contact: tshirtsetc.net@gmail.com
Please do not send passwords, access tokens, OAuth secrets, or other authentication credentials with a privacy request.
We may need to verify the identity or authority of a person making a request before disclosing, correcting, or deleting information where verification is appropriate or legally required.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Printopi may update this Privacy Policy when the Recovery Writer, its information-processing practices, applicable service providers, operational controls, or legal requirements change.
When we make a material update, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this policy and make the updated policy available at its published location.
